今日は特別に雄飛さんとのトークを昼の12:30にスタートしました。まあ〜日光を浴びてる雄飛さんの顔は素敵でしたよ！この時間は楽しい！今後は仕事や学校前の皆さんのためにも、もっともっと早い時間帯にこのトークをやりましょうという案も出ました。朝７時からアプリ対決、いつかやります。

Yuhi and I started our APP show 12 hours earlier than usual today… It`s gooood to spice things up! One of these days, we`ll do the show even earlier — how about before work or school?

今日は8/29からNHKで始まる番組、ハピえいご、の収録日でした。収録はもう。。最高!!! 写真は家族でーす。明日もアップします。

Today was the first day of filming for an NHK show that`ll air from the end of August. Wow, was it fun! Oh, and the photograph — we are family!  I`ll put up more tomorrow.

この週一回のアプリ紹介／喋り／遊びが大好き！雄飛と話していると他にも出来ることや挑戦したいものが見えてきます。今後は、自分たちのアプリを作ったり、イギリスでよくやったスポーツ、クリケット（！）に挑戦！という話まで出てます。Thanks Yuhi! また来週!

Yuhi and I had often spoken of wanting to do something together but nothing really came out of it… until now! This is an ever evolving once-a-week show. One of these days we hope to make our own APP (slowly…but surely…). Trying cricket is also on the cards (yeah, Baseball is big here…). Thanks Yuhi!

この数週間は今月末から始まる新しい番組のリハーサルを何回もしました。ボーカルレッスンまで受けましたよ！楽しかった！

I`ve been rehearsing the past couple of weeks for a new English language show that`ll be starting at the end of this month on NHK. Singing? Why, yes! We recorded the vocals today. It was great fun.

英語でLike father, like sonというコトワザがあります（お父さんのように、息子も — 親子は行動まで似るという意味). この写真はまさしくそう感じるものですね。僕の子供の頃の座り方と表情ですよ。昔の自分を見てる気がします。

Like father, like son… this photo pretty well sums up that phrase, I think! Alex is a mini me, except that he has a much better sense of fashion…

今日は母親に会いました。子供の頃から大好きだったイギリス料理のじゃがいも／お肉パイまで作って、待ってた。感動するよ、味は。。。僕が覚えてた味でした。Yeah.

実家に戻ると子供の頃の自分に会えてる気がします — 夢と気持ちで動いてる自分ーー？　ま、実家は自分が歩んで来た道のりを再確認出来る場所でもあると思います。今日はありがとう！でも途中で寝て悪かった！

I went to see my mom today. I was home for only a couple of hours, but that was long enough to have some of my mom`s great cooking. Gotta get back to my roots more often!
